Battle Royale

Battle Royale

Survival Program

the concept

Battle Royale (バトル · ロワイアル, Batoru rowaiaru?) Is a Japanese novel of Kōshun Takami, published in 1999 in Japan. It has inspired two films, and manga series.
The novel's title is inspired by the name given to the wrestling bringing several tens of wrestlers, having the right to fight alone or in teams (existing team or improvised) on the same ring and simultaneously, to eliminate all competitors except one.

Each year, fifty classes of third (forty-seven class until 1949) randomly selected from all colleges across the country participating. The course of the experiment is very simple in itself : let them beat the students in a class
until there is only one survivor. The aim is to collect various statistical data the time taken by the champion to exterminate the rest of the class. The survivor of each class (called the champion) wins the right to live at the expense of the State until his death and an authentic autograph from the hand of His Excellency the Reichsführer in person.

rules :

- The game ends when there is only on student in life.
- Students are dropped into the playing area, close and constant surveillance by the military. Flight is impossible. To win, all shots are allowed.
- Students are equipped with electronic collars, provided with a high explosive charge. Designed by the Army, they are designed to compel compliance with the rules.
- At the beginning of the game, each student receives a package containing food, a map of the island, a compass, a flashlight and a gun.
- The game takes place over three days, after which survivors's collars - if there were to be more than one - explode simultaneously.

my vision :

Battle Royal is an ultimate survival too !
Ask yourself well : What would you do if you were in their place? Kill you your friend to survive? Your boyfriend or your girlfriend? Or do you stay in a corner until it ends?
Personally, I don't know.
I still believe that I'd rather shoot everyone than getting shot. Especially it is difficult to trust people.
Or I let someone do it for me? I can't know, and happily.
