Ju-On : The Grudge
"When someone dies in the grip of extreme rage, a curse appears.
The curse strikes the place of the massacre and all those who will penetrate this place will be consumed by the avenging fury. "
Remark : I'm talking about the Japanese version, no Sarah Michel Gellar !
So, now, I'll tell you a secret. I'm afraid of ghosts Japanese. And that's what I'll talk about The Grudge. Because it is the ONLY film that has me scared. Bouh !
His face very white, his muffled cry, and especially ... his mouth so big and black. I cry !
A synopsis ?
Rika, a young social worker, goes to a house, which bears a curse, to handle Sashie, an old lady in bed. She discovers a little boy locked in a closet, before being attacked by an evil spirit. A few days earlier, Hitomi, Sashie's son, was also attacked by the spectrum after having witnessed the appearance of the same boy. When Hitomi's sister arrives in turn she discovers Rika in shock. Intervenes Toyama, a policeman responsible for investigating few years earlier on the tragedy that struck this evil house : a man had killed his wife, and their young son was never found :
In an isolated house in Japan, a father kills his wife breaking her neck, and drowns his son and the cat in the bath after learning of his wife's adultery. This is how the curse is born. Kayako and her son Toshio now haunt the house and whoever enters the house is intended to an inevitable death.
Yes, it has nothing incredible in itself, and yet I assure you that once you saw the first film, there is no interest in watching others, because the story becomes coarse, and when we were scared once, fear flies. But anyway, these are Japanese ghosts .... and I don't know if I have already said, but they scare me.
So I don't tell you what it is when I have to play Project Zero (yes ! This game where you have to take pictures of ghosts to killing them) ! Besides, I've never done! It was impossible for me. Too many ghosts inside...
But Project Zero, it is a cult survival horror too !
By cons, Ju-on the grudge is the only Asian horror type film that I enjoyed. Ring was good but uninspiring, and others, I don't even speak.
